Cosley Zoo Run for the Animals

Cosley Zoo Run for the Animals 5K/10K and 1/2-Mile Zippity Zoo events are hosted by the Cosley Foundation to raise funds for the animals at Cosley Zoo as well as exhibit development projects, public programs, and conservation projects. The 5K/10K events are CARA certified and the course is USATF certified. Runners and spectators are invited to a Party in the Park after-party following the races. The party will include an awards presentation with awards given to the top overall male and female runners and age-category winners in the 5K & 10K. Sheldon Peck: Footsteps of his Life

The Lombard Historical Society will be presenting a unique exhibition of the works of noted folk art portrait painter Sheldon Peck. See more than a dozen original paintings by Peck from 1825-1848 displayed in the home Sheldon Peck built in 1839. This first-ever presentation includes paintings on loan from various collectors and museums from across the country and will be displayed together in the Peck Homestead.
