Monthly Kane County Flea MarketSt. Charles, just one hour west of Chicago, is near enough to start your "Getaway Right Away!" This historic city on the Fox River is known nationally for its antiques shops and spectacular antiques shows, held throughout the year. Make it a total weekend of treasure hunting by combining your getaway on the first Sunday and preceding Saturday of any month for the Kane County Flea Market. Opening in 1967, the monthly event has never been cancelled and features up to 1,000 dealers throughout the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles. 33rd Annual Scarecrow Fest

Scarecrow Fest began in 1985 with a few contest entries in St. Charles, Illinois at Lincoln Park. It has grown from a small community festival to a nationally recognized festival attracting over 100,000 over the three-day Columbus Day weekend.
